Demon tried to keep her head above water, choking. She spat up water and went back under the current. Am I supposed to die now?, shje asked herself as she hit her head on a rock and pasted out. She could do nothing now.AND she had an aching head and body. Her body fully went under and her tail was the only thing above water. There was a waterfall up ahead......

"Demon!" Kaaye called, running on the side of the river, trying to catch up to her. She saw a waterfall up ahead. Oh, no. Kaaye thought. She sped up as fast as she could.

Leo had bitten the one bodyguard and let him lay there, blood flowing out of the man's neck. He then noticed Demon. "Oh, no," he said, about to run for the river. But he stayed back, wanting to protect Mia. Kaaye and Ryne can do it. Leo thought.

Demon fell off the water fall! (OH NOES!) Falling swiftly over the edge she came back to earth. She screamed as she went down, down, down. Then her head hit the water and she didn't come back up. Demon had hit the water with great strength and passed out again. She fell all the way down the waterfall...

"OH, NO!" Kaaye yelled, running faster towards the river. "DEMON!" Kaaye jumped into the river, seeing that the current was faster than her. The cold water startled her. But she swam as fast as she could, trying to go faster. She reached the waterfall. She closed her eyes, bracing herself for the fall. But then she hit something hard. She opened her eyes. She had hit a rock! "Stupid rock!" Kaaye yelled over the roar of the waterfall.

Demon was washed up on the shore. Her paws looking like she was runiing. She was bleeding all over the pebbles and her eyes were closed. Nothing twitched and nothing looked like it was going to. She looked... DEAD...

Kaaye climbed onto the rock and jumped ashore. She looked down over the waterfall. She suddenly became dizzy. This reminded her of when she was a pup...
"Eee! Eee!" an owl hooted behind Kaaye. Kaaye ran as fast as she could, trying to outrun the owl. She was small enough that the owl could have her as a little...snack. Kaaye glanced back. The owl was closing in on her. When Kaaye turned her head back infront of her she was too late. She slipped of the edge of the cliff, falling to the ground below. "Ahhhhhhhh!!" Kaaye yelled as she fell. She hit the bottom of the cliff with a splash. For there was a pond beneath the cliff. But it was filled with rocks. When Kaaye hit the bottom, she had hit her head on a rock. Everything went black...
Kaaye closed her eyes tightly, wanting to remove that memory. But she couldn't. That was her most vivid memory of her 'childhood' that she had.
(idk how an owl hoots when he's chasing his prey x) lol)

Demon didn't move and she didn't twitch even the tinest bit. She was even having a flashback of her own. Even she was dead she would still have a flashback going to Hell or somewhere else. This was so much like the time she is having a flashback on...
[glow=red,2,300]Her sides heaved, water flowing into her lungs. "Help!" she cried out to her dad. Her mom rushed ibeside the fast moving currents. She was very fast but somehow the current was faster. Demon went below water. "Help mommy!" she called out. Her mom leaped in to get her. There was a waterfall and her mom called Luna threw her onto the shore. Falling into the waterfall and drifting up on land. Much like Demon had just done[/glow].
It had reawakened the horid memory of her mother almost dying for her. But she died a different way... a fate worse than death if you ask Demon...

Kaaye jumped on a rock sticking out of the side of the cliff. Then another. Another. Jump. Jump. Crrakk! Part of the rock crumbled off. Kaaye slipped. She changed into a human and caught hold of a branch sticking out. She pulled herself up onto the remaining rock and started again. Jump. Jump. Jump. She was about 5 feet from the bottom now. She jumped to the ground. She was glad to have solid ground beneath her feet. She quickly ran over to Demon and knelt down beside her. "Demon?" she asked, splashing water onto her face.

When she splashed water on Demon she accidently knocked her head to the side a little bit. A trickly of blood spilled out of the side of her mouth. Demon didn't twitch still and the flashback still went on in her mind. The rain padded down onj her blood and sent it into the river again. This time the river turned a cloudy blue red. Demon didn't move. Was she really DEAD???

"Demon?" Kaaye asked, more panicked. "Come on, Demon. Wake up." Kaaye didn't know what else to do now. She prayed that Demon would still be alive.

Demon's eyes snapped open. She coughed up water and she coughed up blood too. A rock had hit some kind of organ and now it cause eternal bleeding *(DUHN NUN NUN!!!!* "Kaaye." she quickly breathed. Fallin back onto the pebbles she quickly breathed "Theres not much hope." Then the trickle of blood stopped and Demons eyes grew wide. She fell to the pebbles and bounced a little on the pebbles. Her breathing almost completely stopped.

"Demon!" Kaaye said. "Don't go! Stay with us! You can't go yet! Fight!" Kaaye looked around franticly for some kind of healing herb. She found a fuzzy leaf and held it out to Demon. "Eat it, please..." Kaaye urged. "You have to stay."

Demon weakly grabbed it with her jaws. She chewed it weakly and then swallowed. "Kaaye..." she whispered as her eyes slowly close. "I'm sorry........" there was a long silence in between those very words. She touched her paw to Kaayes flank it was weakly shalking. "I'm sorry." she cried. Tears streaming down her cheecks. Berly noticable in the rain...

Ryne has finally caught up to the two wolves. Her fur was dripping with water when she had attempted swimming, instead she hade made her way down the side of the watefall, by climbing down the slope of slippery rocks.
Thunder rolled.
Lightning flashed and Ryne could see a small black, body lying in the shoreline.
She gulped. ...Demon...
Ryne began to trott over to Kaaye and Demon. She sat on her haunches beside them.
"Is she....." Her voice trailed off.

Leo and Mia were running towards where Ryne, Kaaye, and Demon were. Leo had felt something was wrong and decided to go find them. They reached the edge of the cliff. Leo could just make out three figures at the bottom. "Get on my back, Mia," Leo said. Mia got onto his back, gripping his fur in her hands. Leo jumped down the rocks on the side of the cliff one by one.

OOC: Jaro is quiet.....heh heh...uhh...You don't know he's uhh there...yeah..meep...lol..  Jaro stared down the cliff that Leo was now making his way to the bottom of. "Uhh..." He stuttered, "You must be crazy, if you think I can do that!" Suddenly thunder roared like a frieght train, and Jaro about lost his footing at the edge. He gripped the ground with his worn down claws, "Ok...ok...I'm going.." He panted, changing to a human, and tried to reach the first rock with his feet. __________ "Hold on a little longer, Demon." Ryne woofed as lightning shown in her eyes, "Leo, Mia, and Jaro are coming." Ryne changed to a human and pushed her water soaked hair out of her face. The wind blew and made her wet hair plaster itself to her head. "..Just hold on.." She panted. |

Demon's eyes slowly opened. Tears stroding down her cheecks. She opened her mouth to say something but choke on her words. She couldn't even make her own words out. She closed her mouth again and her eyes were slowly closing.

Leo jumped down from the last rock. He ran over to Demon, Kaaye, and Ryne. He set Mia down and she spilled out all the medicines she had stolen. "Demon." Leo said. "Hang in there... Jaro might know what to do with the medicines."

Mia rushed over to the cliff. "Jaro!" she called. "Hurry up!!" Mia ran back over to the others.

Demon tried hard to open her closing eyes. She put a paw in front of her and another paw in front of her. She spread out her legs and gave a faint yowl of pain. If she died she wanted to be comphortable. "He might..." she whispered. Her tail flinched in pain and her teeth were still weakly clenched.
