Northern City: Train Station
The train came to a halt at the Northern City's Station. Quickly, and in her human form, Ryne jumped off and started searching through the city.
There was a faint scent of Rose here.
"Yes." She snarled excididedly.
A corner was up ahead on the sidewalk she was walking on, and she changed into her true form. her paws made a clikky-clik noise on the hard pavement.
She turned the corner, and came face to face with a pack of starving dogs.
They turned and stared at Ryne, the blood of their lunch stained their snouts. The leader snarled, and trotted up to Ryne, his fur was bristeled.
"Why are you here, outsider?!" He snarled, baring his large fangs.
Ryne bared her fangs, but did not show any other signs of aggresson. "I come from lands beyond, I have been travelling all my life."
The rest of the pack circled around her.
"Visitors don't come here much." Growled a skinny, tan dog, his ribs were showing.
"I don't want trouble." Ryne growled firmly, seeing the humgry look in the pack's eyes.
"Well, you're in the wrong place." Sneered another, "trouble is just what you're going to get."
The leader; Daiki, stared angirly at Ryne, "my whole pack wasn't eaten in a long time. Sure, there is the occisonal rabbit and mouse here and there. But most of my pack is starving." Daiki's pupils were small, this dog was too starving.
"I don't want trouble." Ryne repeated again, "I'm just here searching for Rose."
The 5 dogs snarled, and leapt at Ryne.
Ryne - who was already weakened by not eating - fell to the ground, as the pack of wolves clawed and bit her pelt. The gray she-wolf yelped in pain, but was too weak to rise.
"Stop." Daiki ordered to his wolves. His pack obeyed and stepped back, looking at Ryne's bedraggled body, stained with blood. "This one is no good."
The dogs of the pack growled in frustration, before trotting away, leaving Ryne alone in her pain.
The she-wolf whined in pain from her wounds. Carefuly, and weakly, she licked them clean. Her eyes were clouded with questions.
