"Did you hear something?" Rob yelped. "Hear what? I'm sure it was just your stomach. Have you forgotten that it was our lunch break but now we have to train a pup, and a young wolf and then uthiniaze another? By the way, where are the uthinize shots?" "Yeah, I was going to eat a balony sandwhich too." Rob looked down at his stomach as John pushed the 'pound' door open. "I'm pretty sure those shots are in the third drawer in yor desk." As the door came conpletely open, Jaro leapt from the man's hold and onto the ground below. He stood, for the first time, teeth bared at the two men. He contemplated attacking them. If he did, it would be he would be put down for violence. OOC: I can't spell uthinize (put to sleep  ) |

Leo quickly turned around. A man had opened the door. He turned back to Mia and started to untie the rope faster. His heart pounded, hopeful to get the rope untied before the man did anything.
[OOC: the door 'Rob' opened was to the room Leo was in, right?]

Demon turned into human form. Her legs bended into human legs quickly. She knew she could do this ever since she was a pup. She opened the pound door to get any wolfs and buy them. Then, set them free. She hated being locked in a prison like this. "Can I adopt a wolf?" she said to the man putting the wolf in a cage.

Jaro decided not to attack, and instead stood by Leo - as a wolf.
"You guys have to get outta here, I'll distract them."

"Hey! Where'd you come from boy!" Rob yelled, pulling his knife from his backpocket.
"Get away from that wolf pup, she'll bite your arm clean off!" John yelped, trying to grab at Leo's wrists.

A man turned to face Demon.
"Adopt a wolf, here?" He stared unbelivening at the girl, "Sweetie, these animals here and going to learn how to pull heavy carts for us. They are not pet material, they'll probably kill 'ya if they get the chance."
This man -named Joe - pointed to the cage with Ryne, a gray wolf in it.
"This little devil is a fiesty one, not sutibale for a pet. Trust me, it was hard getting her into the cage."
Joe then pointed to kaaye, the white wolf. "This one however is younger and could be trained to become a pet, but we don't recomend keeping these wolves as pets. RIght now, they are Southern City's property."

Leo finally untied the rope and pulled Mia up into his arms. "This wolf is mine." Leo said, snarling at the man, even though he was in human form. He glanced at Jaro. He gave him a thankful look and ran for the door, even though the man was still there.

"Oh." Demon looked down. "I don't think so. Why would you want wolfs anyway? If their gonna bite your hand off then why are you keeping them?" she snapped. She crossed her arms and looked all around. Wolfs in cages. She looked up at the man. "Wolfs in cages. Pulling, and getting trained to pull. Why don't you just use dogs?" she asked him with her redish eyes burning with hatred.

Jaro watched as Leo and Mia escaped, then he looked up at the two humans. I know what I have to do...I must attack.. And that was what he did.... (dead men on the floor now..  ) Jaro bowed his head, "There's nothing left here for me....I know I'm no longer just a dog..I'm..I'm a wolf..Maybe I can..tag along.." He ran out of the room - as a human - and up to Leo and Mia. "So, Do you think you guys could use one more..wolf?" His last word, 'wolf' came out shaky. __________ "Well," Joe began, "We do use dogs, dogs and wolves to pull the carts. These carts are being shipped to our local train station, and then the dogs and wolves will pull them there and load them up. Once you break a wolf from the wild, it's not longer wild." Joe explained. __________ Ryne slowly began to awaken. She felt feeling return to her paws, and quickly rose to feet. "Oww!" Sh eyelped and flinched when she hit her head on the ceiling of the cage. "Where the hell...am I.." But then it all came back to her. "Leo? Mia? Kaaye? Kiera?" She grunted nervously. _____________ Joe turned as he saw Ryne awaken. "Oh, you're finally awake!" He sneered and walked over to the cage, "Well, this'll be the last time you see the light of day." He began unlatching the cage and readying his lassel to lead Ryne into the backroom. |

He set Mia down and changed into a wolf. He ran at the man.

"NO!" Demon yelled. She grabbed the cage door and opened it all the way. Pushing the two man back she yelled at the wolf "RUN!" She quickly opened the door to the outside and ran out holding it open for the poor wolf.

Joe fell backwards onto his butt with a black and white wolf standing over him.
"Son of a..." He gasped.

Ryne saw her chance and leapt out of the cage, she stumbled a little, still a little drowsy.
"Kaaye." She panted, and began chewing at the cage walls.

Jaro stood beside Mia.
"Your friends are really brave." He stuttered.
I wish I was that brave.

Demon changed into her wolf self. She growled at Joe and bit his arm raking her ragged claws against his face she pulled back. Demon slowly staggered backward as she fell onto her bottom. "Stupid humans think they own us!" she growled. She jumped up and bit down on his arm again.

Kaaye was slowly waking up. "Mmmh...." Kaaye muttered. She slowly got up to see Ryne chewing on the cage.

Joe fell to the ground, dead, as blood spilled from his wounds.
Ryne eyes were burning with anger as she finally made a dent big enough for Kaaye to slip through in the cage.
They do think they own us. She snarled and stepped back to let Kaaye slip free.
Jaro looked down at Mia, "Oh, that's why he's so protective of you."
Jaro recalled how he had never really known his siblings. Juno - dead, Max -dead, Gray - dead, parents - dead. He lowered his head, "You're reallt lucky, kid."

Demon was looking down shifting her paws unchomportably. "Your luckyier." she said to the wolf who had thought of his parents and siblings. "I have a secret that I will never tell. Grusome yes and you would never want to know." she lifted up her head. "I'm Demon, by the way." she said changing the subject.

Leo jumped off the man and walked to Kaaye and Ryne. "Are you two alright?" Leo asked. "Mmmhmmm..." Kaaye mumbled, stepping out of the cage.

Demon decided she wasn't going to spill her secret to just anyone. "Yeah right. My dad killed my siblings. I was tougher though." she said blowing air out of the corner of her mouth. "Just wish I could have kept them alive a little longer. I watched them die you know." she looked at Mia. She said not telling the whole gruesome truth.

"I'm Jaro." Jaro held out his hand. Jaro turned his head to Mia.
"My parents....my siblings.." He managed to say, "Were absued here, they died...here while working..."

Ryne looked at all the wolves around her.
There was Leo and Mia. Kaaye and kiera and Demon, the newcommer.
"So.." She began, "This is the gang..The Paradise gang.."
