Tiring Work [read 6th ]

[Rayne]

Jaro ran to Leo and Kaaye, "C'mon! Hurry!" He yelped, his tail tucked between his legs and paws trembling, "We're gonna die." He added, whining.

Ryne sat at the edge of the riverbank by the bushes where Mia was hiding.
She was in human form, but you could see her human teeth had the pointed edges like fangs.
"If they come any closer...." She growled to herself.

[Leo]

"We are not going to die!" Leo said, running over to where Ryne and Mia was. Kaaye followed. Mia stuck her head back in the bushes. Leo and Kaaye jumped in beside Mia and Ryne.

[Rayne]

Jaro laid his ears back against his head, "Ok." He whined, "You're not gonna die."
The black mixed breed trotted to the bushes and stuck his head in, before sitting down beside Kaaye and Mia.
"So..." He gulped, "How do wolves handel hunters? The dogs at the WorkPlace usually cower in fear..."


"Get some backbone!" Ryne snarled, still a human, "You could kill any human you want. You just got to learn how to fight, and show no mercy to those useless humans."

[Leo]

"Yeah!" Mia agreed. "Backbone!" Leo stared at Mia with a blank expression. "Be quiet, Mia..." Kaaye whispered, now sitting cross-legged as a human.

[Rayne]

Jaro's eyes grew wide as he changed to a human.
His heart was beating faster every second. ..Backbone.. He thought to himself. I can have backbone..I can kill a human..
With that he charged out of the bushes, headed straight for the hutners - still a human.

"You idiot!" Ryne snarled, almost getting to her feet. But if she did, it could mean death.

[Leo]

Leo, now a human, rubbed his temple with his fingers. "Idiot!" Kaaye exclaimed. "You'll get yourslef killed!"

[Rayne]

"I'l be fine!" Jaor called back.
I'll...be fine...I'm a wolf...too...

"Hey," One man turned, "Look Kenny, there's a dog!"

"Should we shoot it?" Asked another.

"Well, Lord Peace told us to shoot any animals like wolves. It couldn't hurt. It's just a dog."

Kenny readied his gun.

Jaro froze. Wolf...Be a wolf...I can be a wolf.. He growled to himself and leapt, landing by the man's feet as a human.

Kenny fell to the ground before a shot could even be fired.

"I knew I could do it!" Jaro beamed.

"It's not just a dog!" Kenny's friend exclaimed, "it's one of...them..."

"Oh crap." Jaro froze, with men holding 19 guns. All pointed at him.

[Leo]

"Great!" Kaaye complained. "Move, you idiot!" "He changed!" Leo exclaimed. "Infront of humans! Just what we need!" Leo and Kaaye changed into their true forms.

[Rayne]

"Well, it's now or never." Ryne snarled and charged out of the bushes as a human.

She charged into the circle of humans, making two fall straight onto the ground. Blood stained their backs.

"MOVE!" She snarled to Jaro, before changing to a wolf and attacking another hunter.

"I was getting ready to!" Jaro lied, and charged at a hunter, as a human, as bullets flew through the air.

OOC: "I was getting ready to!" Is one of Toboe's famous quotes.. ^_^

[Leo]

Leo and Kaaye jumped out of the bushes, charging towards the hunters.

Mia hesitated to go out. Leo doesn't want me to get hurt... she thought. But I wanna help...

Leo jumped on one of the hunter's back and bit down.

Kaaye clamped her jaw around a hunters leg.

[KUPRI]

kiera runs in and bits the other leg of the hunbter as hard as she can.

[Rayne]

The hunters fell to the ground in pain.

"Kill the wolves.." They managed to rasp before...

"Kill the wolves!" The men that were still living ordered.


Jaro punched one hunter in the stomach, and stood prooudly for a moment.

"Aren't you gonna fall over?" Jaro's eyes changed from proud, to frightened.

The hunter grunted, before holding his gun above his head, and slamming it down on Jaro's head.

The boy fell to the ground, knocked out, and changed to his true form.

It had started with 20 hunters, but now 16 remained.

Ryne launched herself through the air, landing on one man and sending him crashing to the ground.

This man; Luke, aimed his weapon striaght at the she-wolf standing over him.
Quickly, ran grabbed the weapon in her jaws and threw it a few yards away before finishing the man off.

Make that 15 hunters left.

[Leo]

Mia lept out of the bushes, in her true form. She ran towards one of the hunters, jumping onto his back, and biting down on his neck. "Mia!" Leo exclaimed. Mia jumped onto another hunter's head and clawed at his eyes. (ow) Leo was impressed with Mia. Wow, Mia... Leo said, staring at his sister. While Leo was watching his sister, a hunter came up behind him, all the bullets gone in his gun, and raised his gun to hit the wolf. The hunter hit him hard on the head and Leo dropped to the ground, knocked out. "Leo!'' Mia cried, jumping off of the hunter she was clawing at.

[Rayne]

Ryne turned quickly, "Leo! Jaro!" She exclaimed. She was about to pounce at the hutner who had knocked out Leo, but she saw Mia could handel him, therefore she leapt at one of the last 13 remaining hunters.
She snarled, clamping her teeth down onto his neck.
Suddenly, Ryne heard a terrible buzzing in her ears.
She turned to a human, and fell onto her knees.
"A nobles ship.."She cried, plugging her ears as best she could, "Lord Peace's ship is passing over.."

[Lord Peace]

Lord Peace peered through his airship window.
He smiled at what he saw.
"Hunters, taking care of wolves."
He turned his head back to the steering wheel.
"Wait a minute." He growled and peered back to the ground below.
Them... he growled, recongizing Ryne and Kaaye, the wolves he had met the very first time.
"So they have created a pack." He laughed, as he directed his ship back to his keep.

[KUPRI]

kiear screeched in pain when she heard the buzzing

[Leo]

Leo heard a buzzing in his ears. He awoke with a start. "Agh!" He exclaimed. He felt dizzy from getting up so fast. He looked up to the sky.

Mia and Kaaye stopped what they were doing and changed into their human forms, plugging their ears. "Gah!" Kaaye exclaimed. "That noise!"

kiera seeing what the others were doing changed to her human and coverd her ears

"AGH!" kiera shut her eyes and prest on her ears tighter

[Rayne]

Jaro slowly tried to get to his paws.
The pupils of his eyes were small, as he snarled in frustration, "Make it stop!" He whined, unable to get to his feet. His head was throbbing.


Ryne, in spite of the terrible noise, launched herself at three more hunters - as a human.
She also, landed at their feet as they fell to the ground, with blood staining their sides.
"Bastards." She snarled, as the high squeaking noise slowly began to disappear.
If that noise would of stayed long, we could of followed it. She growled disgusted.


The last remaining men looked at the "battlefield" where most of their friends lay.

"Should....should we.." One man was stuttering to get his words out.
"Leave, if you say so." One man jumped into one of the trucks.
"Wait for me!" 5 or more men shouted, climbing into their machine.

Ryne stood teeth bared and fur bristeling at the hunters who seemed to be fleeing for their lives.

"Next time think twice before messing with wolves." She snarled as their trucks began to pull away.
