Warm Sand

Hope sighed as she layed on the warm sand. The breeze lifted her hair as she sat beside a palm tree, it felt like paradise here but it really wasn't. The ocean was having a storm and the sky was gray. The ocean didn't get too close to shore with it's waves but it was pretty strong. She just sat there.........

[Kuroi]

Kuroi walked along silently across the beach. Having removed her shoes so the sand slithered between her toes it was a grand feeling to her. Though the sky was gray at the moment and the sea seemed to be getting angry it didn't venture close. She looked up and stared at the sky. Murmuring something to herself and then looking foreward once again. All of a sudden. Her nose caught something. A scent, the scent of another wolf? Possibly, most likely. Her strong sense of smell was telling her so. Apparently, it was somewhere up ahead. Normally, she'd simply try and avoid whoever it may be. Though she intended upon walking the edge of the beaches to push foreward. So she did as she had intended to. Soon enough. With herself at the bottom. Letting the ocean's water run against her feet and then pull out. She looked ahead just a bit. She spotted someone, sniffing the air once again. She could tell that was where the scent was coming from. Another wolf.

Hope blinked as she felt presence nearby. It was another wolf, she hadn't seen some in a while since she was lost from her group but she knew the sense. She blinked again and looked around with her green eyes. She felt like asking if someone was nearby but that was a stupid idea.................. She just sat and looked around some more.

[Kuroi]

Kuroi could smell the scent of another wolf as she walked more and more down the beach. It was staying in place. So apparently the scent wasn't moving or nothing. She looked around, walking for a little bit longer. Finally she spotted where the scent came from. It was another girl. She watched her for a little while, deciding she'd puther shoes back on. She plopped on the ground and dusted the sand from her feet, sliding her ocks on, then her shoes she beat them against the ground making sure no excess sand was on them. She then got to her feet. And looked back out at the ocean for a short moment. It was quiet and beazy, though the winds out at sea made it somewhat of an angry wind. But it was still a nice breaze.

"I hope it rains" She said aloud as she stared out over the ocean. Watching the waves crash here and there.

Hope's head stood up to the voice. She called out, "Who's there?" as she blinked her eyes twice. She looked at the ocean then at the brush behind her. Hope noticed this was another wolf and a girl just like her, maybe close in age. She looked around as she finally saw the other wolf. She went closer but not too close to draw much attention.

[Kuroi]

Kuroi tilted her head back. She stared at the sky, watching it as close and as patiently as she possibly could. It seemed as if the clouds were keeping the raindrops to themselves. Not letting them go. She wished she were a cloud sometimes. Just hang up in the sky, no one would bother you. You could float around all day and even change shape. That be fun. She sighed and tilted her head back. She hadn't expected the other wolf to call out. But she heard the other speak. It be rude not to answer.

"I'm here, the name's Kuroi!" She said, not turning around. Not sure if the other had even heard her. Though she didn't mind. She simply stood and waited to see if she'd get another reply.

Hope blinked not expecting a reply. She found the other wolf and walked up near her. She didn't seem like a threat at all to her. She got closer and closer and replied in a soft voice. "Um my name is Hope nice to meet you." she sat on the warm sand. The breeze moved her fur around and she had to shake her head twice. She looked again at the wolf with her green eyes. They were full of happiness really to see another wolf but hoping she wasn't here to hurt anyone........

[Kuroi]

Kuroi smiled lightly. She looked back at the other wolf. Hearing an innocent voice. Curiousity sparked in her mind. She didn't seem like a loner. Though looks could always be deceiving. She slowly sat on her bottom. Continueing to stare out at the ocean. Finally she spoke once again.

"Well, Hope, what's a wolf like you doing all the way out here? Do you have a pack?" She looked back at her for a moment and then tilted her head fully back. Staring at the trees leaves that had started to sway.

Hope blinked as she sat on the sand. She looked out into the open sea then back at Kuroi. She smiled but then frowned. "Yes I have a pack, though I was seperated and lost from them." she said as she layed on the ground. She blinked twice as a randrop hit her nose. She shook her head then chuckled as it tickled. She sat up then looked at the sky. It was puring but very lightly. She tilted her head then looked at Kuroi waiting for her answer or reaction.

[Kuroi]

Kuroi thought for a little bit. Thinking about her past pack, and how'd she'd abandoned. She then smiled lightly and laughed. "Ah, I see! So, you gonna try and find your pack?" She asked tilting her head back as far as she could, staring at Hope for a long while. She smiled and felt raindrops beginning to fall. She looked up and stared at the sky, smiling happily. Though the smile was short. She turned back towards the ocean and placed her fore arms on her knees.

Hope shook her fur as she started to get soaked, "Of course I am, don't want to be alone in this world of course." she went under a palm tree. "I like the ran, but this is kinda hard, pounding on my fur and everything. She looked out at the ocean as the waves started to grow and srink when they reached the shore. The water wasn't as bad as she thought. Hope thought it was going to be a big storm but it was still raining pretty hard.
