Something worth looking for.

Pristine locks of white hair fluttered across the boy's pale face. His silver eyes darting from ruined piece of human things, to another. Currently he was looking for something metallic that he could work with, or anything he could salvage to use as needed. Sure it was a bit degrading to be poking around in people's garbage, but you did want you could in times like this.

Sometimes he wondered if it had always been this way? Humans hating wolves and wanting them dead... Thinking of his father, and how he had fallen to men with such inspirations cause a violent snarl to ripple out through his vocal cords. Lashing out against a already broken table, he caused it to break into splinters. He didn't really worry about the noise that had caused. It wasn't like anyone was around to hear him, and if there was. It wasn't anyone he couldn't outrun or kill. No one would find a body among all this crap.

Spotting something shiny and metallic, he walked over and picked it up. It looked like it was once a piece of something, but now it was just a torn piece of metal. It was also way to small for what he needed, so he just dropped it back onto the ground. 'There has to be something better in this life. Something to fight for...' he thought to himself as he examined another piece he'd found. Again to small..

Hope was sitting on a building sighing. She was really bored and had nothing to do. She looked up at the sky but there was nothing but grayness and no blue. She then looked down to see a boy who seem to be looking for something. she noticed his empression that seemed the total oppisite of happy. Hope didn't want to disturb him so she just watched what he was doing. She didn't want to look for any trouble either.

Ash had all but given up his search for anything he could use. Spotting a large couch sitting on the ground, he looked it over before sitting down to rest for a moment. No, he wasn't tired, nor was he injured in anyway, he was just frustrated, and a bit hungry. Silently he cursed himself for eating all of that sandwich the girl had given him the other night. Inhaling the air, he froze. His silver eyes narrowing slightly before he realized that it was a she that was watching him.

He didn't bother turning around, but he did make himself more comfortable on the couch. "You can come out you know. I'm not going to eat you or anything." he stated whilst straightening his outfit. He waited for a reply though he wasn't quite sure he would even get one. Though he hoped it wouldn't be violent either way.

Hope blinked now knowing that she had been discovered. She jumped down form her spot and walked up to him. She wasn't sure it was safe and took caution. She sat herself down on a nearby chair and sighed. "Who are you?" she asked with question. She just came to these parts and knew that he was proabably from around here. she waited patiently for an answer from the boy.

Ash smiled slightly when he heard the sound of someone approaching. Though the look of caution on her face confused him. Had he come off to aggressive? His white hair fell in his eyes as he shifted in the couch making himself more comfortable. He shot her a small smile when she spoke to him. "My name is Ash, and you are?" he inquired. He looked her over discreetly, his silver eyes memorizing her face slowly.

His eyes caught on something behind her, and he smiled more. Standing up slowly, he walked towards her, and then to the left a bit. He grabbed up a piece of metal and looked it over. 'd**n it, still to small..' he thought to himself. He dropped the piece of metal back onto the ground and sighed. "Like looking for a needle in a haystack..."

ic: Hope smiled back. This person seemed to be no harm at all. She replied calmly to him. "My name is Hope, nice to meet you Ash." She smiled again with a sweet face. She looked at him as he slowed had walked over to the metal. She giggled when he said it was like a needle in a haystack. She blinked again and asked confusedly," Why are you looking for metal?" she showed that expression in her face. She then noticed that Ash was not totally human. "Are you a wolf?" that was her question.

Faith was sitting on top of a shed trying to get away from everything and trying to think...when she herd her sister hope and someone else talking....she just stared and tried not to get in the middle of whatever it was goin on. she listened closely on thier conversation but not tryin to be found.

Hope sqinted her eyes as she noticed that someone was listening to their conversation. She sniffed the air then gasped. It was the scent of her sister. She blinked then put a smile. She hadn't seen Faith in a long time. She then looked at Ash but then at the open air. "Faith, you come out." she grinned happily. She was filled with joy that she could finally see her sister again after 5 months. Hope looked back at Ash again then waited for his answer but also waiting for Faith's.

Faith was scared when she noticed she was found out. cause she didnt know if the other person was a wolf. she didnt know what he would do if she came out of the place where she was hidding. but soon she started to come out. she left the shed and walked slowly to her sister. then she gave her sister and the boy a sweet innocent smile hoping that nothing bad would happen

Hope blinked confusely. "Are you sacred Faith?" she tilted her head to the side. It seemed that Faith was fake smiling. She looked at Ash then her sister. She shook her head then smiled, "Don't worry, he won't hurt you." she grinned "How are you anyway sis?" she was happy and joyful to see her sister.

Faith walked out and then ran past the boy. still scared not knowing anything that was goin on. she stared into his eyes and began to wonder. "Is he a wolf? thats impossible i thought me and my sister where the only ones left" she thought to herself

then she looked at her sister with a cunfused look. curiusly she lookedabck to the boy and asked him "Whats that shiny piece of metal for?"

ooc; Sorry for the wait.. I left my laptop when I went to my mom's.. Heh..

Ash hadn't quite registered what was going on around him at the moment. Sure he knew someone else had arrived, but he really didn't flourish much in social situations. Besides, he had found another piece of metal, which he was currently calculating whether it would work or not for what he was planning. He realized at the same time, that the metal was still to small, and that the two girls had asked him questions and he was accidentally ignoring them. Dropping the piece back onto the dirt ground, Ash turned his head to look at the two girls. For a minute he just looked at them, rewinding the conversation in his mind so he would be able to answer their questions.

Slowly he smiled a bit, trying to let the newer girl know he wasn't going to eat her or anything. "To answer your questions: Yes I am a wolf, I'm collecting metal to make more armor, and there are actually a lot of wolves around here to just have to know how to look." he said in a kind voice, though it was quiet from the fact that there was more then just him and one other person here. He realized that he'd talked more today then he had in a while. "It's nice to meet you Hope, and Faith, I think it was? My name is Ash." he replied with a small smile to the prior.

Hope smiled. It seemed that Ash was one of them. She looked at Faith then at Ash. She rubbed her hand behind her head as if she were confused. "Why would you need armor? Are you preparing for a battle?" Hope looked at the gray sky, she was hoping that today would be a better looking day. It didn't smell nice around here and it wasn't very beautiful. She sat on her chair and looked around at all the junk humans would just throw out. Hope blinked then waited for both Ash's and Faith's reply.

Faith sat there quitly as her sister Hope and ash went on wuth their conversation. she felt the breeze shift threw her long black hair. she didnt know what to say anymore. she felt the urge to say something but meeting a new person made her shy.

she sat there wondering "what happened to the world why isnt it as beautiful as she herd in the stories that her parents told her and Hope?" then she looked at Hope and Ash with a puzeld face like somethin had go wrong but yet she still hasnt said a single word to either of them

Hope sighed as the sky grew darker. She wished that she found paradise, live happy and wonderfully. This world seemed to have nothing good in it but Hope had the courage and knew that there was Paradise somewhere, and she would find it. Hope then wondered again about needed armor. She waited for Ash's reply then she looked at Hope. "What's wrong?"

"just been thinking.......why isnt the world kthe way mom and dad told us on their stories? And is there such a thing as paradise? and if not why do we waste our time? i havent gave up hope on it being real or anything but i just dont know anymore!"

Faith thought that the things she just said were really pointless cause deep in her heart there is a place called paradise and would their parents be there waiting for them?

Faith has herd stories and went through alot to get as far as she had come..but maybe with her sister she could get farther and maybe just maybe there could be hope for all wolves stuck in the same situation as she is in.

Hope sighed as she looked at the chair legs, they were falling apart. She though that Faith didn't really think paradise had nay chance to be found by them. Paradise seemed like a fairy tale but Hope knew it was real. she looked up to Ash and asked another question to him "Are you looking for paradise?" Maybe he knew a way to get closer to it, prove that it isnt a myth.

Not to far from where the metalic object had been found a trickle of blood dropped from a some what new pile of trash. A rather pale hand was sitcking out from it with blood flowing to his fingertips. The rest of his body was hidden by the trash. It appears as though the boy had been in a fight, and was thrown into a garbage bin.

His hand was trembling as if trying to move but the boy could not do it he was to drained.

Two shapes fluttered in the breeze. A small gasp uttered from one and dropped the startling distance to the earth. A gentle hand touched the one in pain's and a sigh of astonishment escaped the owners mouth. With a aura of sweetness a girl with shining hair knelt next to the bin. Tipping it slowly she shifted the body outwards. Her gentle hands carrese the boy's face and a worried look crept over her pretty features.

"Wake up. Wake up please. You cannot die! You must not I am here to help you!" Sapphire's beautiful sapphrie eyes glistened with the beginings of tears and she shook the boy lightly. Her hands fluttered as she searched th boy for wounds. Patching them up where she could with some spare medical clothe she carried around. With a disturbed glance at the figure standing high above them the young girl settled the boy's head in her lap and began to sing a lovely song. Trying to revive him like she always did for Vitani when she was hurt.

Vitani stood looknig down at her sister and the strange wolf with a cold mask placed expertly on her face. Inside she ached to help the boy and her sister. But years of rough living had beaten most outward feeling from her. Her one eye shone grey while the other one lay hidden behind a eye peice. Her hands brushed of nonexistant dirt from her breeches and her hair wafted in the breeze. With a swift glance down at her younger sister Vitani shrugged nad remained where she was. Then Sapphire started singing and Vitani's heart lurched at the familiar tune. Her sister was so kind to everything no matter what happened to her. Vitani shook her head. She was sesitive and sweet on the inside as well but did not show it to anyone that she did not trust.
