Quent's longtime companion, Blue has been at Quent's side since she herself was a pup. After a confrontation with Cheza, Blue learns that she has wolf blood in her. When a couple of armed guards attack an innocent, she saves him, and tends to his wounds by licking them. Quent, beliving that Blue did the deed, drives her off. Later, she is attacked by the same guards, and is gravely wounded. With no Quent to help her out, she goes on without him, on a journey to find who she really is.
