Leo felt a little better. He could breathe more properly and he felt stronger. He opened his eyes. The world around him was spinning at first. But it turned to normal. "That hunter..." Leo said, trying to get up. "Where is he?"
"LEO!" Mia cried, happy that he wasn't dead.

"He's gone." Ryne blinked, happy that Leo was awake. "Don't get up though." She pushed his back to the ground with her paws, "You're hurt bad."
Ryne sniffed at Leo's wounds, they were healing better.
Suddenly, Ryne's vision was blurry but she quickly steadied heself, and shook her bloodstained fur.

Leo changed into a human. His shirt and jacket was stained with blood. "That's good..." Leo said, holding his hand to his side, blood from his wound getting on his hand. "Is everyone else fine?"

"Yeah," Ryne woofed, "Only you, me and the loner Kiera were injured." She sat on her haunches, and bgran to inspect her wounds. 4 bullet holes were visible on her thick pelt. Quietly, she began to lick them cleaner.

Leo slowly pushed himslef up, wincing slightly from the pain in his side. He dug his hand in his pocket and pulled out some bandages. "Here. Change into a human. I'll put these on your wounds."

Ryne changed into her human form. Her cloths - once fur - were bloodstained. 2 bullets had sailed through her shoulders, while the other two blasted through her side, and belly.
"Ok." She mused.
Her head started to hurt, and her vision was spinning. She closed her eyes and held her head up with her hand.

Leo started wrapping the bandages around Ryne's wounds. When he was finished, he barely had any left for himslef. He wrapped the remaining bandages around his shoulder. He llooked up to see Ryne was holding her head. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm just.." Soemthing seemed to pound in Ryne's head, and her vision was blurry. She saw Leo change from a human to a wolf, human wolf, the world seemed to spin, Ryne almost fell onto her side, "Dizzy." She replied shakily.

"I think you should rest..." Leo said. "All of us should rest." Leo suddenly felt a sharp pain in his side. He quickly put his hand over his wound and slightly leaned forward, wincing in pain.

"...Rest..." Ryne echoed, falling onto the ground. Her eyes slammed shut and her body was numb with sleep and pain from her wounds. The world around her still seemed to spin under her hands - now paws.
"...Rest..." She ehcoed again.

"Yes. - Rest." Leo said, the pain starting to go away. He pulled Mia up beside him and lay down. He stared at the stars while Mia quickly fell asleep. So did Kaaye, now 'past out' by the loner wolf. Leo's eyes were slowly closing. But he fought to stay awake. To guard the camp just in case another hunter came.

"...Rest.." Ryne kept echoing to herself, not knowing she was talking in her sleep.
"...Rrreessstt.."
Suddenly, her lips were drawn back into a snarl, "..You.." She hissed quietly in her sleep.

Leo looking over at Ryne. I wonder what she is dreaming about... he thought. He removed his hand from his side to that it was covered in blood. "Mmph," he complained.

"My pack! Look! Look at the she-wolf! Her eyes, they...they are cursed upon by the devil!" The pack leader; Hintu yepled.
He and his pack had just killed Ryne's parents, and in her dream Ryne was young again.
The pack laughed, "She is in for a terrible future haunted by the devil hinself."
"Then why don't we kill her now?" A wolf walked forward.
"Are you crazy!" One of the wolf's comrades wrestled him to the ground, "She's...got like poisin on her or something. it's the devil ding-dong!"
"Enough!" Hintu snarled. "Red is irght though, we cannot touch this wolf pup, for then we would be cursed."
"Then what do we do?" Yelped another wolf.
"We leave her."
The pack left, leaving the small gray she-wolf to cry over her parents dead bodies.
"Mom?" Ryne snuggled up to her mother's mane. The white she-wolf did not responde.
She staggered over to her father's body, only to see the safe lifeless expression on the gray wolf's face.
"Why, why didn't they kill me?" Ryne looked at the full moon above. "Why?"
A wind ruffled her fur, as a voice called back to her. This was the first time she had heard the voice that caused her to search...
"Paradise...Ryne...Search for Paradise.."
Ryne thingyed her head, "Para-dise?" She pronuonced the words. They fell of her tounge like water, delacate and beautiful.
"Paradise." she echoed as she raised her small snout to howl.
"...Paradise..." Ryne ehoed in the real world.

Leo was wiping his hand on his already blood covered shirt when he heard Ryne. He looked at her, not turning his head. "Dreaming about...Paradise...maybe...

As Ryne continued to dream, about the first days she set out on her journey to search for what many had told her didn't exsit, she curled her tail over her nose and sighed deeply. Her dreams continued. "This is it." Ryne looked out from her cave, snow flurries were blowing in her face. "This is the day I leave, and I begin searching." By this time, Ryne was 11 years old, as a human. But as a wolf, she was almost a year old.
Quietly, she trotted out of the warm cave and into the cold, snowy lands outside.
Days passed, and soon Ryne was trudging through side-deep snow.
On the third day. Ryne recalled toppling over onto her side in the snow as the blizzard ragged on around her. She was starving.
The images of her travels seemed to sudenly pop up in her mind, they were not in cronalogical order, and were not the best memories.

The beating, the beating she had recieved by the DogPack.
The leader; Daiki, threw Ryne to the ground. Blood covered her fur, as her ribs were cleary visible under her pelt.
"I don't want trouble." Ryne coughed...

"Where are you going?" A crow cawed down to her. Ryne looked up to see a small, black bird in the pine trees above her.
"If I told you, you'd think I was crazy." She replied.

Ryne ran, dodging bullets from the hunter who was right on her tail.
"Dangit!' She howled, as she tore across the hills, "I can't let him catch me, he can't have my pelt."

The moon, its full face show down to her as Ryne howled to it.
"Why did you let me live?" She howled, "Sometimes I wish you would of let me die, then and there with my parents."Ryne shifted in her sleep, as slober exited her mouth. OOC: hahaha I drool when i sleep  :} |

MORNING [/center] Ryne yawned and rose to her paws, the world no longer seemed to spin, and her wounds were healing quite fell. She changed toa human and drowsily wiped the drool from her mouth. "God, if I oversleep I'll end up sleeping in a lake." She muttered to herself. Then she turned to see if any over her comrades were awake yet. Slthough it was hard to see in the pale dawn light. |

Leo had been awake the whole night, watching the 'camp'. "Good Morning, Ryne," Leo said, slowly getting up, darker 'circles' now around his eyes. It looked as though he hadn't slept for days. Which he hasn't. "I hope you slept well." Leo looked like a ghost with his pale skin and dark circles around his eyes from lack of sleep.

Ryne turned to see Leo. She jumped a little, surprised by his apearence.
"What the? Why, what? Have you been getting enough sleep?" She changed to a human, and placed her hair around her ears.
