[Heart of a Wolf]

Sakura looked around. She didn't know what to do. She looked at those who weren't fighting. She ventured over to Patches, gently picking him up, then placing him in a nearby bush. Stay safe in there , she thought, turning to the fight, untill the fighting it over. A growl escaped her throat again and she changed at Kikashi. "Let Rose go!" She yelled at him. She lept high off the ground ready to bring her fangs down into his throut.

[Rayne]

Jaro panted heavily as he stood with Patches in the bushes.
"Patches! Patches!" He gently licked the pup's fur, "Are you ok?!"

Kiyiya slowly stumbled over to Warui and rested her hand on Warui's arm.
"Warui? Warui? Are you..." Her voice trailed off.

Ryne couldn't take another step.
She was horrified to see Rose being picked up by Kakashi, and she despratley hoped Leo or Sakura could save her.
"Why can't I move..." Ryne snarled to herself as her blood dripped onto the ground below.
She lowered her head and panted heavily.
"I can't give up yet." She growled and raced after Leo and Sakura.
Ryne waited in the behind the two wolves.
She had a plan; Protect the Flower once Leo and Sakura attacked.

[~*Dark*~]

Kikashi whirled sideways with Rose clamped firmly but not harshly in his jaws. He lashed out with both back paws at Sakura's head as she flew through the air. Leaping into the air he stood on a tall tree and growled. "Do not try to reclaim her or I will bite!" His whole massive body shook with uncharicteristic rage and his eyes had lost there pupil. He would kill the flower if she would not go with them. No other pack could have her.

[Heart of a Wolf]

Sakura rubbed her head where she was hit. She looked up at Kikashi in the tree. "You wouldn't dare." She growled. If he does, She thought, [/i]NO ONE will get to Paradise.[/i] "Even a wolf like you... Must know that..... Paradise..... Will never be found.... Without her....." She said. Her jaws were in a tight snarl. She tail in the air. She growled deeply as she looked on. As she did, she wondered if this wolf was really listening to her.

[Mia]

Leo and Kaaye stopped what they were doing and stared at Kakashi. If he bit the Flower Maiden too hard, they will never go to Paradise.
As Leo and Kaaye's gazes were on Kakashi, Mia slunk into the bushes, toward Warui and Kiyiya. Even though she shouldn't help the enemy, Mia decided to do so anyway. She stuck her head out of the bushes beside Kiyiya.
"Hey," Mia whispered. "do you need any help with...her?"

Warui felt a warm touch on her arm in her unconsciousness. She moved her head to the side, slowly starting to wake up.

[Rayne]

Kiyiya jumped back in surprise at the sound of Mia's voice. But she quickly understood she ment then no harm.
"Yeah, thanks." Kiyiya yelped slowly beginning to wag her tail.


Ryne bared her fangs at Kakashi.
"You wouldn't dare." She took a step closer, "Tell me. What will you gain, by killing the Flower Maiden. You will gain nothing. But you will loose one thing." Ryne took yet another step forward. "You will loose Paradise. Do you really, want to do that?" Ryne's legs tensed. She was ready to jump.

Jaro stepped out of the bushes - Patches was still safe in the brush.
He stood beside Kaaye and Leo and watched in silence.
What was going to happen next?

[~*Dark*~]

A gargling laugh ripped free from Kikashi's throat. He thre his gaze to where Kiba was wresteling with Tsume and closed his jaws a bit closer to Rose's throat. His razor sharp fangs glistened as his hot breath wheezed onto the flower maidens neck. "If I kill the maiden then you shall not make it to paradise! I will not let my pack be left on this disgraceful planet if another pack will make it to paradise!" The beta's neck fur bristled and his eyes glowed with madness. He was serious about the maiden and his voice rang out to all the wolves that were gathered fighting or not.

[Koko]

Kakashi was out of hisds mind. Koko knew that and so did the others. " Put her down. Your fear is getting the best of you! " Koko called through bared teeth. The blood dripped from her wounds as she moved over to Ryne. Her dirty creme fur was really dirty now. Blood stained and ragged. Her body was heavy and weighted her down. " Sh*t! He's mad and going over the edge! " Koko thought. Whatever was going to happen next, Koko hoped it'd be positive.

[Demon]

Kiba wrestled with Tsume and bared his fangs, sinking them into flesh and feeling the warm blood seep into his mouth. With his hind legs while they were wrestling and Tsume was on top, Kiba kicked out his legs and sent the massive wolf to the ground. He bit his neck and with all his remaining strength, threw him into the tree. "Hes serious! Nobody will get Rose but us!" he snarled, and jumped up to a branch a little higher than Kakishi's head. "Try us." he snarled, his voice was heared through out the clearing.

Demon kicked with her hind legs and her now red eyes had a ting to them, it was a brown orange. The reflection of Hige. Her fur on her back and her neck un-bristling and her eyes filled with fear. "My son..." she gave a small yelp, and turned her head over to the bush. A fearful glance in her eyes. "No.." her voice was weak like she was ready to give up. She fell limp unable to fight anymore. She closed her eyes softly. "Go ahead kill me." Demon whispered, turning her head over to Silver, here eyes still closed. "Shes not dead." she whispered once more.

Patches weezed, a full-grown wolf sch as Kakashi would do alot of damage to a small pup such as him. As blood spilled from his neck he glanced up at his father, his vision failing. "Im fine." he weezed, and tried standing up, only to fall to his side.

[Hige]

silver coughed and wheezed spitting up a bit of blood. "I'm weak..." she rasped. She placed her paws on the ground and pushed, vainly trying to push herself up. after several trys she finnlay managed to sit up.

Hige's gaze followed demon. He gasped at he saw silver painfully sit up. He raced over to her and changed to his human form and hugged her, a single tear going down his cheek.

Silver changed to human and hugged him back tightly. "Hige....Hige I thought I had died." she murmured.She burried her head in his chest never wanting to let go of him.

Hige smiled " I thought taht you had died too." he whispered placing his hand on the back of her head.

[Rayne]

Ryne stayed where she stood, staring at Rose.
The maiden looked like she was in pain, and if Ryne or any of the others attacked, they might be the ones to kill her merely through their actions. Ryne knew if this maiden died, Paradise could be lost forever. But still the gray she-wolf was dreading what she had to do. And that was to give in.
Ryne's eye's still held their cold gaze, but she slowly and quietly went into submission.
You bastards, she thought to herself, This isn't over.
"I surrender, so you will spare Rose's life. But mark my words, a pack like your will not make it Paradise." She snapped, raising her head to glare at Kakashi and Kiba.

Jaro's jaw fell agape, Surrender? Was Ryne crazy?
"What?!" He exploded, "We'll fight till the death for Rose! Why?!"
But then Jaro soon understood, Kakashi would kill the maiden, if they did not surrender...

[Hige]

Hige stared and Ryne in shock. He could not beleive his ears. But His shock quickly faded into satisfaction. The flower maiden was theirs. He turned his attention back to Silver. "Hey can you stand up?" He asked her.

"I think so." Silver murmured. She let go of Hige and placed her bloody hands on the ground and vainly tryed to sit up. But she colapsed back on the ground. The pain was far too much. "No I can't." She groaned holding her hand gingerly.

Hige looked at her with concern. "Here let me help you." He said and grabed on of her arms and lifted her up. He steadied her as she wobbled.

Silver cluched her head in pain. It hurt from getting up to fast. "I'm ok i'm ok." She murmured she limped forward with hige helping her.

[Demon]

Kiba smiled in satisfaction. "We have no more business here, we have the flower maiden." Kiba announced. Kiba jumped down from his perch and confronted Ryne. "We thank you for your understanding. We are sorry we had to take the Flower Maiden from with with a fight but that was your fault." she snarled and turned back, he padded towards Kikashi. "We and the Flower Maiden shall be on our way." he said up to him.

A blueish black shape moved throughout the brush and peeked into the now over battle. She had been following the scent of the lunar flower since she was traveling and finally found her destination. "Rose..." she whispered. Her eyes wide with shock. Your taking Rose!?! Bastards!, she almost snarled outloud.

Demon was still laying on the ground will blood spilling out of her neck. She gulped in air and realized this battle was over. She steadied herself up on a rock and breathed deeply.

Patches stared in shock. "NO!" the young pup wailed. He scrambled o his paws even though pain clenched his body. A grimace was all over his face as he realized he could do nothing, and turned away.

[Hige]

Hige's head snapped around as hea heard the wolf. But he decided to ignore it. He and silver hurried after kiba. Silver limped forward trying to catch up with kiba. "Woah take it easy. Here change to wolf so i can carry you." Hige said. Silver nodded and did as she was told. She whipered softly as hige picked her up. She was so sore. She closed her eyes as hige trotted up to kiba.
Silver was glad that her pack had the maiden but she could not help but feel some pity for the other pack.

[Rayne]

Ryne kept her head down and stared at the ground, deep in thought.
Have I failed? I lost Rose, does this mean... I can never get to Paradise? Does this mean that none of us will get there?
Ryne's eyes turned cold as she glanced up at Kiba, but she said nothing. Her blazing gaze said it all.

Jaro ran over to Demon's side, glad that the fight was over, but angry that they had given up.
"Demon," Jaro panted, "Are you all right?" He examined her wounds for a second, "Can you stand?"

[~*Sean*~]

Sean walked toward Ryne "You did the right thing, no one would have made it to Paradise if Rose was killed," he walked toward the place where Bailee was when she said she was leaving Its time to move on.. He sighed and turned around, he walked to a tree and sat down. Shes probably better off without me. He started licking his wounds.

[Koko]

That's right. The battle was over, their side lost. That's what Koko thought as she lay on the ground. It's reddened dust in her face. Her eyes still filled with rather as she watched Hige and Silver leave. Koko choked her breath and she spit up a little blood. " I'll...ki..kill th..that Silver " her voice shakey. Her wounds throbbed with pain as her eyes clouded. If she was in her human form she'd be crying right now. Koko's eyes slipped close and she fell asleep.

[Kaaye]

Mia took the medicine out of her pocket and rummaged through them. "I wonder if this will work...?" Mia asked, handing Kiyiya a bottle of medicine. "It says it relieves pain..." She suddenly realised the sounds of battle stopped. What happened...? she thought, looking towards the battle.

Kaaye and Leo stood quietly. We lost... Kaaye thought. Or did we...win...? By letting Rose live.

...Warui...
The voice echoed in the darkness. Warui felt like she was floating. The sounds from the real world kept switching on and off. Warui now had a headache. A natural one, not from the voice. She rolled over to one side, not exactly unconscious anymore.

[Rayne]

Ryne sat up, and looked at her pack. Not all of them were badly hurt. Koko, Demon and Patches looked like they were in the most pain.
"Tonight we will rest here, it's a full moon tonight and our wounds will heal." Ryne's eyes began to sparkel as evening fell upon the land, "Let that pack experience one full moon with Rose before we take her back. And we will get her back."

Kiyiya gave the bottle to Warui, "Hurry, Drink some. We have to catch up with the others."
Kiyiya turned, Hige and Silver were in the back of the group, and they were already getting farther away.
"Thanks for he;ping us," Kiyiya turned to Mia.

Jaro curled up in a ball beside Demon and Patches. He could help but feel guilty that they had some of the worst wounds, and he had merely scars and scratches.

[~*Sean*~]

Sean curled up into a ball, he stuck his nose under the tip of his tail. He kept his eyes open and watched the pack. His gray fur still bristling, he listened to the sounds around him. His eyes started drooping after a while and in a minute he was sleeping. He dreamed about his mother and the fire. He twitched his ears then woke up when Bailee had just dug her claws into their mother's throat in his dream.
