[Leo]

Leo squinted, the ashes of the fire threatening to fly into his eyes and his fur singed from the fire. His ears pricked slightly at the sound of someone calling his and Koko's name. Leo then knew it was Ryne.
He opened his mouth to howl back but the smoke caught in his lungs, making him cough.

"What if Leo's trapped by the fire?" Mia asked nervously. "Calm down, Mia," Kaaye said, holding Mia's shoulders and staring into her eyes. "Leo and Koko are fine.."
...I hope... she added silently.

[Koko]

Koko heard Ryne's call. But she didn't howl, because of the fire and smoke. Suddenly something jolted inside of her. Her hands balled into fist, but she was happy! Why she had no idea. Snapping back to the current situtation she stepped back and jumped over to Leo. " Hey you can do it " she urged and placed her arm around his waist to help him up. The smoke bruned her eyes and she closed them to releave the pain for a bit. Whatever they did they had to get back to Demon and the others. " Lets go Leo " she urged again. Her blue hair glistening with sweat. There were black spot of dirt on her smooth face.

[Rayne]

There came no reply to Ryne's howls, and the gray wolf was almost ready to give up.
How can they survive this... this terrible fire... She gulped as smoke burned her eyes.
She leapt to the ground off the tilted tree trunk, ready to head back. But as she tried to walk, she couldn't move. Like the voice that had told to her to begin searching for Paradise after her parents were slaughtered, Ryne knew what she had to do. That was to keep searching.
"I'm going to find them." She snarled, changing to a wolf and tearing through the trees that were blazing with orange fire. She ran for a short time, but to her felt like an eternity because of the smoke that hung in her lungs like bricks. She leapt over a fallen tree, also in flames, and there she saw them. Leo and Koko.
"Leo! Koko!" She yelled, but her call came out in rasps from the smoke, as she ran over to them.


Jaro smiled at Demon, "W-What are we gonna name him?"
He looked down at the newborn pup, he had white and black fur. He looked more like a dog then a wolf, because Jaro himself was part dog and wolf. Jaro smiled, he didn't care if his son was a half-breed as he himself was. He'd always love him as he'd love Demon. Forever.

[Demon]

Demon licked the newborn pup. "Um..." she mumered. He has patches..., she thought for a few seconds. "Patches." she decided. She beamed with pride, and nuzzled Jaro, on the shouder. Then, something popped into her head. Koko and Leo! Their back, right?, she thought. She stood up. "Jaor can you watch Patches while I go check on something?" she asked him. Without waiting for an answer she darted out of the den and into the flames, after Ryne. Smoke filled her lungs again and she saw that they didn't come back. She trudged through the flames and found a tail bursh her nose. "Ryne?" she coughed. "Did you find them?" she coughed again.

[Rayne]

Jaro settled down on the moss beside the young pup.
"Hi Patches.." He wagged his tail.
The pup's eyes were not yet open, but he moved closer to his new father.
Jaro jumped in surprise for a moment, but then soon relaxed. He began to lick his son.
He's got dog in him... Like me Jaro thought to himself, as he looked down at the pup.
This pup was the most precious thing he had ever seen, and it just broke his heart.
Patches's gave a small yelp, and Jaro rested his head by the puppy's belly.
"You're safe here." Jaro mused as Patches rested his small head on his father's muzzle.

Ryne gave gasped when she saw Demon, "Yeah I found them." She panted, standing beside Leo and Koko.
She wasn;t going to ask yet, but she wondered how Demon did with the delivery of the puppy.

[~*Sean*~]

Sean ran though the fire and stopped when something brushed against his leg. "Hello? Bailee?" he sniffed the air, it was Ryne and Demon. He whimpered and ran off the other way. He stepped on something soft and looked down. He wagged his tail and tried moving the branch, it didn't even budge.

Bailee heard Sean trying to move the branch and she just layed there.

[Demon]

"Ok." she gave a sigh of relief. "I was hoping." she said, and started to trot off in the other direction. She looked back, and saw Sean trying to move the branch. Dmeon moved towards Sean, stepping over the flames. "You can find your way back right?" she asked taking her paw back that she was going to step into the flames with. She wanted to make sure. She was gonna help Sean move the branch. But, he probably didn't want her help anyways.

[Rayne]

Ryne held her hand out to Leo and Koko, smoke making her dizzy and causing her hand to woble back and forth.
"C'mon," she coughed, "We have to go... now, before the whole forest is turned to ash."

Jaro carefully picked Patches up by his scruff and carried him outside the den for Rose, Kaaye, and Mia to see.

[~*Sean*~]

Sean stopped moving the branch and looked at Demon. "Yeah, but I'm not leaving until I get my sister out from under here.... can you help me? .. please," he lowered his ears, his eyes started burning from the fire. He looked down at the branch and started moving it again. He yelped as Bailee bit his paw.

"You said that you wished that I was dead, and if I stay in her long enough I'll burn to death," Bailee growled and pushed further into the bush. "I didn't mean it, please come out," Sean whimpered, he was close to tears now. He moved the branch an other inch, but only to have Bailee push it back.

[Demon]

Demon jumped through the blazing flames and landing on the other side next to Sean. "Come on Bailee, he didn't mean it." Demon said, a hint of a grim tone in her voice. She grabbed the burning branch with her teeth and pulled, revealing Bailee. "Come on Bailee, you can't die! Not right here, not right now. Come on!" she barked. "You'll miss all the little things in life, exspecially if your trying to get to paradise." she quickly explained. She turned back jumpeding through the flames and padding over to Jaro, her smoke stained fur was hot. She smiled as she saw Patches dangling from the mouth of Jaro.

[Rayne]

"Isn't he just... precious..." Jaro smiled setting him dowm on the forest floor. The little pup staggered around on his wobbley feet, then sat and stared up at his mom, Demon.
Jaro's tail wagged fiercly as he ran up to greet her with a lick on the muzzel.


OOC: Rainbow... you gonna posteh? And what about Koko...

[Leo]

Leo stared into the flames, a worried look in his eyes. He closed his eyes and looked away from the fire, pushing the scene from his head.
Leo looked up at Ryne. "...Okay." he replied.

[~*Sean*~]

Sean quickly grabbed Bailee before she could hide again. She was still a pup and was easy to carry, he started running out of the fire. He stopped halfway and looked back at Demon. "Can you make it back by yourself?" he said though his sister's fur, who was struggling to get free. "Stop moving," Sean mumbled. "Never," Bailee said, she started clawing at his chest. He stetched his neck and moved her further away.

[Rayne]

Ryne couldn't bear the smoke any longer, she grabbed onto Leo and Koko's hands and pulled them away from the blazing fire. She dodged flying sparks and stopped herself from tripping many times. Finally, with almost singed pelts, Ryne found herself back where the others were.
She glanced over her shoulder at Koko and Leo, panting she spoke, "Are you two ok?"


OOC: I had to speed up this thread by doing that : p I don't know when Koko is going to reutrn.

[Koko]

Her breath was short and Koko coughed alittle. " Y..yeah. I'm okay " she gasped inbetween coughs. The fire and smoke had took a toll on her soft throat. Koko gave a few breaths and was back to normal. " Thanks Ryne " she said and gave a smile with her black spotted face. She turned her blue head around in search for Demon. " Where's Demon? " she asked emptily. Her smile dissapeared and her eyes filled with question.

Sakura ran away from the flames and followed Ryne. She didn't fear for her life, she was just following what the others did.

[Rayne]

OOC: It's okie dokie I just didn't know when you were coming back.

"No problem," Ryne smiled back before getting to her feet and staggering over to Rose.
"Are you all ok?" She coughed, then suddenly froze when she heard Koko's question.
Demon... her eyes grew wide, She's still out there..

Jaro stepped beside koko, with the newborn pup in his jaws.
He stuttered a moment, "Demon's still out there?"

[~*Sean*~]

Sean couldn't bare the smoke any longer. He walked back to Demon and pushed her out of the fire. He dropped Bailee and fell sideways, panting. He looked weakly at his sister, his breath caught in his throat, he could barely see Bailee's sides moving. "Bailee," he howled, his voice raspy from the fire. He got up and nudged his sister.

Bailee responded with a yelp. She had burnt spots all over her body. Sean whimpered and sniffed her wounds. He fell and looked up at the other wolves around him. He kicked his sister on accident when he got up and she whimpered. She crawled toward a stream and licked up some water.

[Demon]

Demon was pushed out of the fire and landed with a thud on the other side. Her ears twitched annoyingly. "I could hjave done that myself." she rasped. The burnt spots all over her body began to bleed, and her lungs were still filled with the burning smoke. She limped back toward the group. Coming up behind Koko. "Im here." she rasped quietly. Her lungs burned when she breathed and talked... At least she wasn't still out there with the blazing flames engulfing her body... The jewel dangled from her neck, and was still glowing as bright as ever.

Patches stared up at the jewel. He wagged his small tail, and yelped happily. Demon came up and licked his nose affentionatly. Patches gave another cute, small yelp and rasped his tiny tounge over his mothers nose. Demon smiled, and rubbed her face against Jaros.

[Heart of a Wolf]

Sakura was happy that everyone made it out of the fire. It had almost turned into a disaster. Suddenly, she felt a drop of rain. She smiled. Rain. The fire started to die down. Sakura fell to the ground, unconscious. It was all too exciting for her. She had overdone herself.
