[Demon]

Its all my fault..., Demon thought. Their all blaming me anyways..., she thought. She looked at the moon, not able to see it. Her mom appeared even though she couldn't see. She jumped back fur bristling. Her mom was appearing like Koko's dad. "Mom!" she said in a low whisper so they all couldn't hear. "Demon... It is your fault. Don't you see." she growled. "No!" she growled back. She actually knew why! "Now you have lost our sight. You will no longer be of use. Your a pile of trash." she growled. Demons blind eyes filled with tears as she flinched back. "Mom..." she cried. "Your useless!" she snapped. Demons eyes were overflowing with tears. "I went through all this for you!" she cried. "Can't you ever be grateful?' she cried. "Demon its all your fault. Your such a burden. Why'd I ever give birth to you." Demons cheecks were covered with tears. "I am a burden aren't I?" she looked at her mom crying. "Yes you are." she growled then disapeared. Everything went back to normal again. Demon was still blind. Tears covered her face. She got up. Her tears in a puddle at her feet. "She said that to me!" she cried. She walked sadly away. She was such a burden, who needed her? Her friends thought she could've done different and its all her fault. She walked sniffing her way and sniffling. Her bright blue eyes filled with sadness. "Somebody tell me who I am..." she cried walking.

[Heart of a Wolf]

Sakura felt Rose's hand on her head.She opened her eyes.She couldn't see Demon at all.She started to worry.Sakura got up and walked into the forest,looking for Demon.When she saw her,she began to feel bad again.She ran in front of Demon."Demon,where are you going?"Sakura looked into Demon's cloudy eyes and felt really bad."Demon...even f you can't see,it's no reason to leave."Sakura smiled,"My sister lived for 18 months blind.If it hadn't been for a d**n soldier,she would still be alive today.She found that,when you're blind,your others senses take place of your sight.She had extreme hearing,great sense of smell,and she was able to tell where she was walking just by how the ground felt.She never let blindness get in her way.Why should you?She became blind when she was only four months old!If a young pup like her could live with it,so could a grown wolf like you!"Sakura tried to comfort Demon.Jakie,your an insperation to us all.I wish you were still here....Sakura tried to feel better about it,but she probably not feel todadly good untill Demon answered.

[Demon]

Demon looked up her cloudy eyes locked on Sakura. "I'm just a burden. What use will I be to you? What use will I be to ANYONE?" Her bright blue eyes glowing wih rue and resent. The clouds covering the sky began to turn a gray and far away you could hear thunder. Her fur was plastered to her adn it began to drizzle. "Im no use to anyone..." she said her cloudy eyes filled with tears. "My mother even said so!" she cried brushing and running past Sakura.

[Koko]

The memories just kept running through her head. Her father's eyes. His warming scent comforting her. She had spent so much time with him. Ever since her retched mother, left. This made Koko bare her fangs in disgust. That worthless woman! Abandonong her and her father! All for a stupid male!! " A male that was so fresh, she left us!! " her voice raising into a howl. Koko became caught in it. It took her awhile, but she stopped herself.

Slowly she got off the rock. Moving her feet she went foward. Where was Demon and the others? Koko began to go and look for her friend.

Through the trees she went. Sniffing for Demon. Her hair ruffling in the cool night breeze. " Demon!? " she called. There was no respon. She tried again. " Hey De..! " she was stopped to see Demon running past. This caught her off guard. Pushing her feet foward she went into pursuit. " Yo!! Demon!! " Koko called. She began to speed up. With a leap she landed n frotn of the black female wolf. Koko's eyes searched Demon's face. '' H..Hey? Demon glad to see you back on your feet " she tried at a attempt to cheer up her friend. There was sadness on Demon's face. Why>

[Demon]

Demon looked up, of course, not seeing anything. She smelled Koko's scent. "Tell me who I am." she said. Her foggy gaze rested on Koko. Demon had stopped in her tracks. "Tell me why I'm blind. Tell me that retched sentence you have locked in your head." Demons gaze was serious and it had much saddness in it. "Tell me why I'm worthless." she cried. "My mom thinks so!" she cried. "Tell me!" she demanded.

[Rayne]

Ryne looked down at Sakura, "We don't all hate you. You are a vital part of this pack, you have no reason to feel forlorn." Ryne sat down, the rain obscuring her vision, "Should we go after Demon, or do you guys think Koko can handel it?"

Jaro took a step forward, not sure wether to follow Demon and Koko's scent, or stay here with the others.

[Koko]

Koko scratched her head with a sad look on her face. Her blue eyes gazed at Demon's dull eyes. Though Demon was blind, Koko could still stare into them and see the pain. Her expression turned dull. She closed her eyes and sighed. Her answer had come to her. " Why your worthless? " her voice filled with thought " It's because you put to much on yourself. You let her play tricks on you " she finished her sentence " That's why your worthless " her voice cold. Demon wasn't going to collaspe infront her. Not if Koko could help it.

Her blue eyes now softened. She crouched and hugged her friend. " That's what a person who isn't your friend would have said " her voice strong. " Your not worthless Demon. Your full of worthiness! " she pulled back from her hug. She gave a serious look. " You became my friend when I thought my father and I had no one " she kept her current look " That's not what I call being worthless ". Koko shifted into her wolf form. Her golden eyes glowed with care and warmth. " A person who can come into another's life and heal them isn't worthless " her ears low.

Koko stood infront of Demon as the rain paddled her fur. It slipped off like on a slide. The air was wet and full of soaked wood smell. But the gloominess didn't drown out Koko's bright heart. It shone with the hope of her friend becoming happy again.

[Demon]

Demon didn't flinch from the coldness in her voice. She stood strong and tall. Not defeated and helpless. Her foggy eyes were filled with the same coldness as Koko spoke with. Rain paddled her fur. Her ears were pricked and listening to each word, filled with meaning, Koko said. Demon understood what Koko had said. Maybe she was putting to much pressure on herself, maybe she was stupid and let her mom trick her? Dmeons eyes glinted with pain, coldness, and strength. Her stomache lurched. But, Demon said nothing. She just stood there.

[Leo]

"We should let Koko talk with Demon..." Leo replied to Ryne. "She's her friend. She'll know more about her..." Leo sat down on a rock, rubbing his hands on his forearms. He was cold.

[Rayne]

"You're right." Ryne flopped down on the ground, "I guess all we can do is wait for them to come back now." Ryne changed into her true wolf and laid her head on her paws.
Her eyes veered over to Leo, who was sitting on the rock, he looked cold.
"Cold?" She laughed, "At times like this it pays off to have thick fur, like mine."


Jaro curled up on the ground also, "I hope they don't get lost out there...In the rain..." He thought aloud.
Jaro could, at times, be a worry wart.

[Leo]

Leo looked up at Ryne and smiled slightly. "Yes, I'm cold..."
Kaaye looked over at Leo. "Do you want a fire started to keep you warm?" Leo hesitated. "Er...uhm...sure..." he said, a bit of fear showing in his eyes. "O...k..." Kaaye said, getting up, and heading for the trees to gather some sticks for a fire. "I'll help!" Mia exclaimed, running after Kaaye.

[Heart of a Wolf]

Sakura was watching all the activity.That's all she felt like doing,watching the world around her.She could hear the sounds of the forest behind her.She layed down,the peaceful sounds of the forest helping her sleep.She countinued to think of what Demon had said to her.Sakura could only hope she was okay.

[Demon]

Demon turned back, smelling. "Kokom thanks." and she licked Kokos cheeck. She started to pad away to the otheres. "We better get back." she smiled. She smelled the whole way. She could tell it was raining and she could tell they were on dirt. She padded up to Jaro and put ehr nose in his fur. She layed down beside him.

[Rayne]

Jaro's tail wagged joyfully and he licked Demon's cheek, "Are you cold?" He questioned, "'Cause Kaaye's gonna build a fire."

Ryne stretched, her front paws reached out farther and her claws dug into the ground.
"I'm not cold, but I could dig a fire." She yawned after stretching.

[Koko]

A warm smile crossed her face. Koko noded and followed after Demon. The rain was blocking her senses so she followed Demon. Since she was blind, her other senses were more stronger. Her paws splashed the wet earth, as she entered the spot were the other wolves were.

Koko trotted over to a nice patch of grass. It was soaked, but it wasn't muddy much. She settled herself and stared off into the distance. Awaiting the sleep that would ease her mind.

[Demon]

Demon shook ehr head. "Im fine." she curled up next to him. Like a miracle her foggy eyes cleared up. Demon picked up her head and gasped. "Demon, I tricked you.... to make you learn..." A voice said. Her mom appeared. "You got your sight back. You learned the true meaning of life. The meaning of what it takes to be a true friend. Koko said that, and shes right. You did save a life. Two lifes." she smiled and disappeared. Demon was left in awe. Her mouth hung open open and her eyes were shocked. "I-I can s-see..." a wide smile appeared on her face.

OCC: Heya were's the flower maiden, eh?

[Leo]

Kaaye and Mia came back with twigs in thier arms. Rose walked out of the trees on the other side. Kaaye sat down in the middle of the small clearing and grabbed a small match out of her pocket. "Always good to be prepared!" she said, striking the match on a small rock, lighting it. Kaaye threw the match in the small pile of twigs Mia had set up.
A small fire now started.
Rose sat down by Leo, staring into the growing fire. The fire was now a foot tall, giving off warmth. Leo edged away from it a bit, although he was cold. Leo wrapped his arms around his knees and laid his head down, hiding his face.

[Rayne]

Jaro jumped back a bit, staring hopeful at Demon.
"You can?!" He exclaimed, his eyes growing wet with joy.

Ryne looked over to Demon and Jaro.
There was nothing to say, therefore she just smiled.
Thank you, for not letting a pack member be blind. She closed her eyes, Thank you.
The gray she-wolf turned her attention back to the fire.
She blinked once, then stared into its deep orange flames. Smoke burned at her eyes, but Ryne did not flinch.
The flames grew higher, brighter, and warmer, but Ryne kept staring. The yellow and orange wall of fire reflected in her eyes, and probably the wolves around it.

[Leo]

Leo looked up. He stared into the fire, visions of his past replaying in front of his eyes.

Crak! Crak! Leo watched the house collapse, his parents still inside.

Leo blinked away the visions of his past, water forming in his eyes. But he couldn't get rid of the scene playing in front of his eyes. He backed far away from the fire, hitting the trunk of a tree. But the memories still came back. He got up and ran into the forest, away from the fire, squeezing his bandaged wrist.

Mia and Kaaye didn't notice Leo leave because they were playing a game with thier hands, but Rose noticed. Rose whipped her head around just in time to see Leo disappear into the trees. "Leo?" she asked, although he could not hear her.

Leo sank down onto a tree stump, his head in his hands. His shoulders shaked from his sobbing and his tears fell freely down his face.His sobs came in quick, dry, breaths; from running so far. "Why...?" he sobbed. "Why am I like this?" He had run about 100 yards from where the others were, about the length of a football field. Moonlight filtered down from the trees, one shaft of moonlight shining on where Leo sat.
