[Avery]

Jack rolled over onto his belly and glared at Mitzi. He looked at Snowstorm and answered her question "Yeah," He sighed and laid his head on his paws. Mitzi looked up at Ellie "I'll be back," she got up, turned into her wolf form and jumped up into the tree with Ellie. "Hey E, why did you get into a fight with my father?" Ellie lifted her head "I don't know, its just that, Avery isn't careful enough. If you would of seen my brother when he was a pup he wouldn't be any different from now. Well, I guess that he has better control of ignoring our father's voice now," Mitzi's ears perked up "Your father's voice?" Ellie froze "He didn't tell you?" The curious look on Mitzi's face answered her question "Could you-" "No!" Ellie snapped. Mitzi's eyes widened and she crouched down, trying to make herself smaller. Ellie calmed herself down and smiled "Sorry about that Mitzi.. want to go down and talk with Jack and Snowstorm?" She nodded and they jumped down from the tree. They sat down by Jack and Ellie smiled at Snowstorm.

[Aluet]

Aluet lept down from the tree and looked at the pups. She sighed and padded over to a tree and sat beneath it. She tightened her bandana and watched the pups as they played around.

Jack got up and jumped on Snowstorm then ran off, Mitzi close behind. He stopped in front of Avery "Hello?" he mumbled something and rolled onto his side, Renee looked at them then closed her eyes. Jack ran over to Aluet "Hi!" he stood up on his hind legs. Mitzi stayed by Avery and nudged him, she wanted to know about her grandfather, Avery growled and Mitzi sat down.

[Aluet]

Aluet smiled and looked at the pup. 'Hi, so your Jack?" She said. Her voice was a melody and she tried to sound as sweet as possible. When she heard Avery growl she looked at him "Be nice, give the kid a break she didn't do anything wrong." Aluet layed down and looked at Jack.

[~*Sean*~]

"Yeah," Jack got on all four paws. Mitzi sighed and laid down but got imeditatly back up when Renee sat up. "So.. what you wanna know?" Mitzi looked at her surprised "How-" 'I know that look, so, come on," Renee closed her eyes "Ellie mentioned something about dad hearing his father's voice," Renee's eyes flashed open and she looked down at Mitzi "That's something that I do not want to discuss, but if you want to know.. I'll tell you tonight. Go and play with your brother," Mitzi looked at Jack and Aluet "...Okay," she got up and ran over to them, she jumped on Jack and pushed him to the ground. She smiled and got off, she crouched down and jumped back and forth in front of Aluet, playfully.

[Aluet]

Aluet smiled and looked at the two pups. She sat up and grabbed a branch out of the tree, she easily snapped it off and looked at the pups with it in her mouth. "Ever played limbo kids. She said smileing.

[~*Sean*~]

Mitzi stopped jumping around and thingyed her head "No," Jack's ears pricked up and he sniffed the stick, he grabbed the other end of the stick and shook his head. Mitzi head butted him "So.. how ya play?"

[Aluet]

Aluet giggled. "Well this is a game where you have to go under the stick without touching it. First person who touches it loses.... after each person goes under the bar is lowered until someone loses, do you want to play." She said. She had learned this watching a bunch of humans at a party.

[~*Sean*~]

"Sure," Mitzi said and she turned toward Jack, he shrugged. The both turned into their human forms. Renee limped over "I'll hold it up," she took the stick from Jack and Mitzi started to protest but Renee silenced her with a look.

[Aluet]

Aluet smiled. "We can both. Humans have two people hold it up. Ok kids. Mitzi, your first." She said as she held it just above the kids heads.

[~*Sean*~]

"Ok," Mitzi leaned back a little and went under the stick. Jack watched her "Jack," He did the same thing. Renee lowered the stick a little bit. Avery woke up and saw them, he sat up and watched. He heard someone walk up next to him, he looked over and saw Ellie sit next to him. He watched the kids, no interest in his eyes.

[Aluet]

Aluet looked over at Avery and Ellie. "Would you like to join in?" She said. Although she allready knew Avery's answer. She gave him a quick glare and went back to the kids. "All right, Mitzi try this height."

[~*Sean*~]

Ellie was looking at Avery, she looked at Aluet "Sure, I'll be over in a moment," her head whipped back to look at Avery "You don't have to be so rude," she snapped 'Oh and by the way, I told Mitzi about our father," she bounded off and watched Mitzi go under the stick. "How much did you tell her?" It was Ellie's turn and she went under, Avery followed. Back in line, she replied "Only that you heard his voice sometimes, that's it," Avery was quiet for the rest of the game. The stick touched Jack's shoulder.

[Aluet]

Aluet noticed the touch and took the stick. "Well that's it. Jack sorry but you lose." She smiled and set the stick against a tree. She looked at Avery. "Thanks for joining in." She said and smiled at him before going over and laying down under a tree.

[~*Sean*~]

Avery forced a smile, he gaze followed Ellie until she was out of sight, his ears twitched. Mitzi ran over to Jack "Come on, Jack! Mum going to tell us about dad's father!" Renee was beside her in a instant "Keep your voice down, we don't want any one else to find out about it," she said more quietly "We don't even want you guys to find out," They went behind the tree, close by Avery and Aluet.

[Aluet]

Aluet looked at Renee and then at Ellie. They seemed happy here. She might be able to get along with all these wolves. She stood and walked over to the water and dabbed the edge of it. She looked back at the others and layed down at the water's edge.

[~*Sean*~]

Renee sighed as she looked at the pup's eager faces. "Ok, your father and I came from a pack called Blood Pack. We were the most feared wolves around and Avery's father was the reason we were feared. He killed every wolf that dared challege him, there was many deaths and pretty soon all the humans that were in that city were dead and we were weak. When the pack started to turn their backs on Killer, he tried to make his sons as evil as he was. He successed with Kyle but he couldn't get though to Avery. So, when he died he haunted Avery and drived him crazy so he killed half the pack. A few months later the pack ran Avery out of the pack and Kyle took over the pack. That night they came after me and killed our last pup when I was sleeping. They chased me out three days later and now we're here. Looking for something that probably doesn't exist!" The pups flinched back.

Ellie sighed and ran off before they could figure out that she was there. She ran into Aluet "Wha? Oh, sorry."

[Aluet]

Aluet's head snapped up when Ellie showed up. "It's ok. I was just thinking." She said. She got up and jumped into a tree overlooking the pups.

Renee saw that she had taking the pups by surprise. "Sorry guys, I think that Avery or Ellie told you I had lost hope...," The pups nodded, Mitzi looked up "How did dad's father die?" Renee hesitated "Avery... murdered him," Jack's head came up when she said the word 'murder'. Ellie sat down and looked out into the ocean, she didn't know why but she started to howl. She remembered when she was in the pack, she heard another wolf howl but she didn't look to see who. She knew it was Avery, anyway.

[Paw_]
